Our After-School Activity at Lawrence Drive Baptist is being offered to 15 Porter Elementary K-5 students. 

WHEN:     Tuesday afternoons from 3:20 - 5:30;  January 21 - May 13 and will follow Bibb County School Calendar. 

WHERE:   A member of our After-School Team will walk your student across the street from Porter School Dismissal to our Lawrence Drive Family Center (Gym) located at 5774 School Road. The Lawrence Drive Church Van will be used for transport during Inclement Weather. You may pick your child up at 5:30 from the Lawrence Drive Family Life Center.

WHAT:     The afternoon will be filled with:

• A light SNACK will be provided each Tuesday.
• GAMES AND RECREATION
• ACADEMIC ENRICHMENT - through time spent on class/school Apps and/or homework help CHARACTER ENRICHMENT - through an introduction to the Love of Christ through the use of "The Greatest Journey" curriculum offered by Samaritan's Purse. This curriculum will introduce your student to the Bible, teach them who Jesus is and why we need Him as our Savior, and how to share this life-changing information with others.

We will Celebrate in May with a Pizza Party and each student who completes the Greatest Journey will receive a Certificate of Graduation.
